Thanks for starting the thread off. I'm sure it will receive a lot of hits and posts in the coming days!
I'm personally not convinced yet it is Vladuz again but it does highlight the severe ongoing threat to users personal data whether it has been acquired externaly via phishing or pharming or - of even more concern - a genuine hack in to eBay systems.
Not the usual spokesperson or the usual language we've got used to from eBay in these situations either.
Intersting and no doubt this is going to develop a little more.... |

We had a loophole in the interface between eBay and Paypal.
Was the leak for the data in the list the user or an interface?
Who (not from eBay-stuff, of course) asked someone in the list about the CC numbers?
Was the number just mixed? |

Are you talking about Snoyce or the 1200 posts too?
Snoyce still owes an answer for a threat with FBI investigation.
Reason was a report at the German (!) site falle-internt.de about “open windows at eBay’s security team”

Yepper, but look at it this way...
If Romney gets caught naked and in the act of defiling an 8 year old boy and his puppy in the back of his SUV, in public, with 50 or 60 witnesses, who have video cameras recording the incident......he won't have to worry about it hitting the major media. And if the video does make it to YouTube, she'll make sure Google takes it down quickly. |
